Extremely good, really loved the exhibits, having many artifacts and relics, as well as many of the exhibits being very interactive and highly informative. While small, there was a ton of information and things to do and learn in the museum, could've spent all day there. They have video lessons by the curator, audio tours from you phone you have to find by going through the exhibit, you can actually go into a recreation of life below decks of a civil war vessel, and even have scale models of the old civil war ironclads and an old civil warship you can tour outside. While it's appearance from the main road could be improved, this was a fantastic museum, a hidden gem of Columbus Georgia. If you enjoyed the National Infantry Museum, this is another must-see that's only 5 minutes away.

Other exhibits include weapons from the era as well as a timeline of the Civil War.

Very interesting place. Would like to go back when I have more time. We got there kinda late. They gave us a discount on admission since it was late.

My family and I came here while visiting my nephew who is in basic training. It was a very fun place, and my younger children enjoyed it! Definitely worth a visit.

The recovered CSS Jackson is the centerpiece of the museum. It's hard to understand the scale of an iron clad when you only see them in a text book, but this really puts it into perspective. It's about the length of a shrimp boat. The size of the timber used in the construction of the hull is surprising as well. Some looked like they just shaved the bark off of 100 year old oak trees.

Affordable and fun good place to go to kill some time and you don't want to be gone all day. Very educational and lots of cool artifacts
