Very nice. Room was cold when affair started but staff quickly adjusted temperature. Food good.
Since the complete restorative renovation re-opening in 1979. There have been many noted, memorable, events held at the Columbus Trade & Convention Center. The building structure is formerly known as the Historic Iron Works. This lovely place is a staple in Columbus, Georgia "Historic District".
The facility is pretty, but not managed well. I was at a convention & there were no concessions opened. We had to go across the street to the adjacent hotel. Maybe day two was better. The restrooms ran out of toilet paper. At the hotel across the street, the restaurant service was lousy. Never got waited on. Walked out.

Stunning architecture. Staff is warm and welcoming. Rooms are very spacious. Bring a sweater it does get cool inside. Great outside views of the river.
