I called Mr. Townsend looking for someone to just do the roof n clean up, we already bought roofing materials. Without coming out (he was in the middle of another job), Mr. Townsend asked me to take a picture of the house roof and text it to him. With just the pic he gave me an estimate. It was a very good estimate so we asked him to do the job.
Called Mr Townsend to get an estimate for a full shingle replacement. Gave us a great estimate and started work the next week. Mr. Townsend stayed while his men were on the job. He was very nice and very easy to work with. Could not be happier with the finished product or how it was done. Anyone needing roof work done should give Mr Townsend a call and see what he can do for you.
He came out with his crew, early morning, and his crew got to work immediately! They were all very polite and respectful. Mr. Townsend tacks the shingles etc. with hammer and nails ( no nail gun). Which means no misses, everything is secure. The roof is beautiful! and the whole area is clean, they even take a large magnet and go around the whole house to pick up any stray nails!
I called Mr. Townsend first because I like a man who is willing to put his name on his business. He came out that same day and gave me a good estimate. Started work the next week with an experienced crew that obviously knew what they were doing. They went the extra mile to make sure there would be no problems with the roofs performance. I would highly recommend Alan Townsend to anyone who has a roofing need.
We had enough materials for everything but 4 ft. of one corner, there was not enough corner shingles. Mr. Towsend and two crew members came back out as soon as we bought the materials and finished the job! I HIGHLY recommend Townsend Roofing!!
I must say I am very pleased with Alan as I had a suspected roof leak and he came out and looked and patched what small hole they found at no charge and advised next steps as they suspected it wasn't the roof for the problem I'm having . Can't be more pleased. Might I add I'd called late that night before and they were here at 730 that next morning! AND its a weekend !!!! Wow. If you need a roofer call him!!!!! You won't be dissatisfied! Very curteous and thorough.
You simply don't need to call anyone else. Allen gave us an awesome deal on installing two turbines that we bought. I called him monday and he was at our house at 1030 AM the next day to do the job. Everyone else never called back or even gave me a quote over the phone. He also at no extra charge, went as far as to make sure the current condition of the roof was in good shape. He sealed up our water vents that weren't sealed properly so no rain water would seep into the attic creating rot. For any future roofing needs I'll be calling Allen only! (knock on wood nothing happens however!)
