Does anyone EVER answer the phone or return calls when you request a callback? I bet the Mayor doesn't have to wait on hold one minute, much less 20+!
Well I am going to have to give them credit. I called and selected the call back option because the hold time was 20 minutes. Velve called me back! I was really worried because I purchased a new car a couple weeks prior to moving to Fayetteville and my dealer tags were expiring. She told me exactly what to do and sent me temporary tags to NC to cover me until my permanent tags are mailed to me. So they are amazing in the book of miracles.
Called in, recording said there was a 4 minute hold time, and my call was handled by a gentleman named Ty, and very professionally. 5* service!
First don't expect anyone to answer the phone and if you leave a call back number you will not get a call back. No chairs for the customers while conducting business? REALLY!! I watched a 70 something year old women with a walker be told she had to stand in line. She did for about 45 minutes. Once at the "handicapped" window had no seat available. I was also informed I needed an inspection on my truck since it had an out of state rebuilt salvage title. Fine no big deal until you can't contact the only guy in the whole county licensed to do them for a month. I'm sure they will stick me with some late fees once I do get to register my truck.
Seriously how do I get someone to answer the phone? I've called on 4 different days, this morning right when they opened. I'm on hold for 45 minutes even though the message says my wait time is '0 minutes'. Then I request a call back, follow directions, and never hear back. I have a very simple question, can't take off work to come in and ask that simple question (especially with hours that are 830-430 which is right in the middle of when everyone else works)...just need to speak to a human being for 5 minutes...so frustrating!
