Waiting and as I speak, still waiting for a taxi to pick me up. Never again.
When another cab company failed to show for an scheduled early morning pickup to catch a flight, American Cab Co. came to my rescue! They got me there as fast as they possibly could, and the driver of was very helpful in getting me to my flight as quick as he could! Made my flight when I originally thought I was done for!
My ride was harrowing. The driver ran a light which had been red for at least 4 seconds (he never realized he had) and was swerving in and out of lanes without meaning to. He also didn't know if the location we were going to, even tho it was pretty popular. Then, after I'd found and given him the address, he misunderstood the directions his gps(phone) gave him and made a somewhat dangerous attempt to get off the road and tried to figure it out without pausing the fare. He also had a lot of trouble understanding me despite my speaking louder and very clearly. Then, when I called them to report the driver, the person who answered to phone said "okay I'll report it to the boss" when I had only just started describing my experience, and hung up on me.
SAVE YOUR MONEY & YOUR TIME TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE ! BAD SERVICE & RUDE PEOPLE !
Before I even got a cab to come to my apartment to come and pick me up, they called me back at 9am, in which they were supposed to pick me up before ten to get to my appointment at the doctors. They refused to pick me up because I had a debit card/credit card for payment,and then told me that no one was going to pick me up because of that. I DO NOT recommend them at all for any of your transportation needs. I asked to speak to the owner to make a complaint, he than said that he could care less if I did and that he knew the owner very well. 5 thousand thumbs down!!!!! Worst Cab Company Ever!!!!! Would never recommend them ever to ANYONE.
