The person that used to run this store, no longer does. Now it is ran by an incredibly sweet woman! The people that work there are the nicest, and the store has a nice since of charm. It is a wonderful shop and I would recommend it to anyone!

I couldn't agree more with Jeffery Post. I was in the store today for the first time. Penny and her lovely friend Dora were both so pleasant with me and polite. I do not understand why people are attacking her. She's got a quaint little jewelry store in a beautiful strip center. More people should visit and see for themselves. When i left there today I was determined to write them a good review and report this nonsense to google. Support these local ladies Columbus Georgia!!!
Penny Vick and Shirley Sherer run a fine business and it would be worth your while to visit with them and see for yourself!
Time does not erase what this person did. For those who do not know, William Calley runs this shop here, He was responsible for the My Lai Massacre, He has been deemed a disgrace to America through court martial and is the very definition of what the worst a human being can become.
It's good to support hometown folks that still understand and deliver customer service in this Internet age of big box stores with no personality.
I am not sure whom all you folks are that are writing disparaging remarks about this store and it's owner Penny. Yes she was married to whom but have long parted their ways, 11+ years. In addition the store belongs to Penny and her family. Regardless of what happened in the past and your personal thoughts may be I find it repulsive that you are writing these disgusting reviews. I have known Penny for more than 25 years and she has been nothing but honest, friendly and caring both in her personal life as well in the store. There isn't another jeweler that I could recommend within 50 miles of her store. If you have any preconceived thoughts I highly recommend that you visit the store where you will be greeted with warmth and knowledge and fine a fine collection of jewelry for what ever occasion that your may be celebrating.
William, no one forgets what you did that day, as someone who has served, you were not just following orders, what you did that day was far from just following orders. You smiled, you joked, and you even took a lunch break after shooting women and children in the head for no damned reason. You are a monster and deserve nothing but justice in this life or the next no matter how hard you try to blend in and forget.
My parents bought their wedding jewelry at V.V. Vick Jeweler over 58 years ago and it still looks great! Mom even registered there for her silver and China (which she also still has!)
This man has been convicted of MURDERING HUNDREDS OF INFANTS IN MOTHERS ARMS and now lives comfortably here in America due to only being slapped on the wrist from a failed justice system. Anyone who knowingly supports this man has a special place in hell reserved for them.
