It is alway a pleasure to go here. The staff is friendly and the waiters are extremely kind and helpful. Can't wait til my next visit
Only thing, I'd order the biscuits over the cornbread. The cornbread wasn't my favorite.
Such nice wait staff! We had the daily special: meatloaf, potatoes, and the husband had greens with ham or some meat mixed in ( I had okra.) He began throwing up the next morning and was ill for several hours. Since that was the only meal he had, and it was served only slightly warm ( not hot), we presumed it was the greens. Ick. Our ate breakfast which he enjoyed and I was ok. I will never, ever, ever eat food again from a restaurant that is not piping hot.
Our visit was very pleasant and It was surprisingly great food. When we got there nobody was at the stand but it was a very busy night and l understood that they needed extra help. About five minutes later a very polite woman sat us down and asked us if we would like to order and in a flash she got us drinks and asked us what we would like. I got a burger and it was just amazingly good! After we ate we paid l looked around the shop and it was very well lasted out and organized. I was also surprised my whole family got great food and it was only $25! After that a very nice gentleman held the door for us and as you can tell we had a very amazing experience.
I knew it was going to be an incredible dinner when I was greeted by the worlds nicest host Jarred. He was so polite, quick, and pleasing in ways that other hosts I've had in previous experiences weren't. Since my wife didn't like the first table I apologized and asked for another and he proceeded to tell me how there was no need for an apology that all that mattered was our happiness and comfort. 100% the best beginning to a great dinner. Thanks Jarred! Definitely will be back.
This was my first time at Cracker Barrel. What a great experience! This is the place to go if you want delicious southern food with wonderful customer service at a great price! There is also a cute little store you walk through before you get to the restaurant. I bought a winter hat. :)
