This happened last year (they were still called Epperly Tire back then) but I am just now writing about it. I had over heating problems in my Jeep's engine cooling system. For some context, money is no problem so I don't mind not doing the work myself, and I know exactly what is wrong with my Jeep at the time but I played dumb and acted as if I did not know what was causing the problems. So I waited 2 hours just to receive a response, and a BS one at that. I was told that the overheating is due to a broken head gasket and offered to fix it for a couple thousand dollars, no big deal. Well, I have technical knowledge and mechanical experience, so I fixed the problem myself for only $40. All I had to do was replace the thermostat, but I just didn't want to do the work myself. Yeah... someone a lil desperate for some cash. And I know who you are.
Not a quick service but very detailed. Experienced and thorough staff. Fluids, pressure, 20 point check and tire rotation included in service. Showed diagram of alignment and tire wear. Recommended necessary services, and described what was more necessary or less so. Showed me my filter and explained why should be replaced and gave detailed info on fuel injector cleaning importance. Ended up replacing two filters, cleaning fuel injectors, tires rotated, news tires quote, fluids topped off, oil change, and diagram of tire wear for about 195.00. Gave veterans discount of 10%. Will return for future services.
I have been to nearly half of all the auto centers in Columbus, GA and Tire Engineer is by far the best. I own a car and truck and need lots of regular maintenance and repairs due to the simple fact I am constantly on the road. They are by far the best mechanics in Columbus. They also have the cleanest best stocked waiting rooms in the business, even the work area is spotless. It's ovious they take pride in their work and work environment. Thanks to the amazing crew!
These guys know about customer service. I use them for all my oil changes. As well as a lot of smaller repairs. Thanks for great service.
