I almost never write reviews, but I came across "Stacey's" review posted a couple of days ago and felt a different opinion of the store was justified. I received nothing but professional, courteous and friendly service from everyone there, from both sides of the store (retail eyewear and the Optometrist and staff side). My only complaint is that the optometrist is a little socially awkward and for some reason does not make eye contact when speaking, but I'll chalk that one up to he's just tired of looking at eyes all day! I told him what my problems were with my old prescription, how they were uncomfortable after short periods of time, and he fitted me with a new brand that I don't even feel! They are awesome, and the prescription is fine. As for the selection of glasses, drive your sorry butt to Atlanta if you want a better selection, but know this. I shopped up there as well, and the stores are much bigger, but the selection is not much better. And the prices are about 20% higher. The frames I paid $200 for here in Columbus were $250 at Lenscrafters in Lenox Mall and Perimeter Mall. Lastly, when I couldn't decide between two frames, the associate actually took her time to take pictures of me wearing both, from different angles, to text to my fiancee so she could let me know what she thought. Now that's friendly service!!
They were nice and helped fix my glasses.
Friendly, reasonable and very helpful!!!
As far as the Lenscrafters portion fo the store - the associates were nice, but the selection was bad - very few things - mostly thick plastic frames. Not what everyone wants!
I won't ever go there again. The optometrist associated with the store was not good at all. He didn't assess my eyes properly and gave me an incorrect prescription. I complained that the new contacts were blurry, and he refused to reassess my eyes, instead insisting that eyedrops would help. I left feeling like he didn't listen at all. When I returned for a follow-up visit a couple weeks later, he felt that the reason I was still seeing blurried vision is because my now several weeks old contacts were at that time too old. Ridiculous. I've been slightly dizzy with headaches as a result, and refuse to order this prescription. He doesn't listen to patients. Horrible experience. I'm instead seeking a new optometrist to get my old contact prescription back - the one that DOESN'T give me headaches.
I love it because when my glasses break I come and get new ones
