Everytime I come here, I've had a decent experience. From the pediatric ER, adult ER, inpatient stay, labor and delivery. Over the many years of being in Columbus and visiting this hospital has been a blessing. Never a bad experience. The entire staff have been respectful and caring. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that asks.
the ER patient care is horrible! they do not have any sympathy nor empathy for their patients. The receptionist is rude. The service is very slow, the wait is pathetic. For it to be an emergency room they are very slow to react to emergencies. I witnessed them dismiss a patient and as soon as he walked out the door he fell to his face and they took their time to go to his aide and the nurses who had just clocked out walked right passed him; and then someone had a seizure in the waiting room they took their time to respond and acted clueless as to what to do. A man sat in their waiting room clearly in pain no one even looked the man way. I only give them a 1 because its a place that supposedly save lives.
I had to take my fiance to the hospital for a serious allergic reaction. The doctors and nurses are good. But this one nurse, I guess she felt like I couldn't handle speaking Spanish. My fiance is Spanish. She totally ignored me being in the room. I felt Insulted, because I did as much as getting him here, communicating with him as far as pain, and etc.. What made her think I wasn't good enough to be acknowledged? I'm not fluent in speaking Spanish, but I very well understand. I felt out of place and stupid, she literally moved me out of the way. I'm thinking racism on her part, I'm biracial/black... He's Spanish, she's Spanish and I guess she thought I'm illiterate. You don't understand how many Spanish women and men are against us because of race! Of course, that's where my mind went. And for those you who will say its not about me.... I know that!!! But he isn't comfortable without me, especially when he is sick and I damn sure want to be by his side, he wanted me to speak for him, I mean he is struggling to breathe, his throat is swollen, and his tongue and lips are swollen, he doesn't want to talk. So I give them a three for good service, the attitude she has a one, if that and if you ever run into her you will know who I am talking of.
Every time I go to this hospital they are always SLOW!!! They are very RUDE and they are just sits there, like they don't have nothing to do!! There's a nurse that was to come in at 7 and check in with her patients but she's the one that was just sitting at the font desk!! I would not recommend to no one to come to this hospital!! If you wanna get the best treatment please go to St.Francis !!! I stand behind what I say ...I will be filing a complaint on these nurses. If you ask me I feel that they needs to be shut down.
If I could give them zero stars I would they take entirely to freaking long for everything been in this place for 4 hours going on 5 and if I would've went to St. Francis I know for sure I would've been out within 2 hours or less. this place sucks got me debating on whether I want to deliver here or not... This is just rediculous man. Y'all got to do better !
