I love Chinese food and was very excited to try Chef Lee. The sesame chicken was just chicken fingers drizzled in sauce, so I would personally not recommend it. The customer service is why I gave Chef Lee’s a 1 star. The waitress was awesome, the manager though not so much. I am a petite girl, so I understand my age does not look 21. As obvious the waitress must check your ID to order an alcoholic drink, and that was no problem. The manager had came over though and started yelling in the room “you look sixteen years old”. Then demanded to check my ID again. So of course I let her check me ID. As she is checking my ID she is repeatedly yelling “you look sixteen, no way”. After she questioned me on about everything my ID had, she seemed upset and gave me my ID back with no apology. I felt all the attention in the room just locked on my table. As the manager walked away she continued to yell “you look sixteen” and then go talk to her employees angrily as if I had gotten away with the best fake ID in the world. At the end of the dinner the manager decided to take it upon herself to yell at our waitress as well for not coming to grab the check, even though she was giving us excellent service.So further more, do I recommend going to Chef Lee’s? No I do not. I especially don’t recommend anyone that may look on the younger side of your actual age, or you will be humiliated.
Great food every time. I've been eating there for 20+ years. Reliably great. The kids love the fish pond.
Good ambiance and cheap drinks, but no real vegetarian selections. I understand authenticity, but I wish I could have eaten something. It all is cooked with a meat product in the sauce.
I have always loved Chef Lees!! Great food and even better service I just love Chef Lees Mongolian Chicken. I really recommend this to anybody that is visiting town or coming to live here please come to Chef Lees you will never regret it. Mrs. Lee is one of the nicest people I have ever met. There food is great, it's an ammaculate building with the pond, and the architectural structure of the building. This place really reminds me of when I went to China a few months ago!! I love Chef Lees.
Chef Lee is a assume person and his staff . I personally met him and he keep a tight run A+ restaurant. The food is handled with all the love one can give so you the customer can have the best experience possible!
