The rudest staff I've ever dealt with. ONE large pizza took 23 minutes to get to us. First time we've ever been to Chuck e cheese WILL BE THE LAST! Took over 20 minutes to place an order at the start. Thought about the buffet but it only had one dessert pizza on it at 12:30pm! Ran out of ice and it took 10 minutes to fill it up. $50 bucks is way way to much for this type of service! Don't let Amazon put this type place out of business too.
I take my grandson to this location once a week or so. I always buy him $10 worth of tokens, and a pizza. Today… I ordered a large pizza and 3 cups for water. But for some reason in this "kid friendly" place, we are no longer supported when trying to keep our children/grandchildren from drinking sodas or sugary sweet tea. I was told by a smart mouth young girl behind the counter that they "no longer sell cups for water". So I clearly asked her, "so you're going to give me three cups because we don't drink soda, right"? She said "yes". So, I get to my table and realize that I have been charged $2.49 for EACH cup, a little over seven dollars… Are you kidding me? I did go back to the counter and address the issue because I thought surely she was mistaken and heard me incorrectly but she very rudely told me that they had to charge me $2.49 for each cup even though we were all drinking water and turned around and pointed to the price on the sign. This is ridiculous and I want everyone to know that you need to bring your own water because if not you'll get ripped off of the price of your cup. Because my grandson loves his place so much, I tend to overlook the rudeness and the employees and them ignoring us when we come in and need help but after this experience of paying over seven dollars for 3 cups of water, we may just have to find a new place to go. I have a lot of friends who have grandchildren as well and I will certainly spread the word.
Save your money and go to Stars and Strikes. Worst experience ever in all my years of going to this location. Today was the last time my family or myself will visit this location. I paid over $50 for terrible customer service from a manager. I paid to have the buffet for myself and my family, which ended up totalling over $20, only for the first pizzas to be placed on the buffet after 12, which the buffet hours are 11 to 2, and then watch adults get 6 to 7 slides of pizza for themselves, not children, everytime any pizza was placed on the bar. Pointed this out to two managers and nothing was done. We then watched people without wristbands walk up and place pizza on napkins and go sit down. Pointed this out to managers and again NOTHING. Upon arriving and paying for the buffets the young man asked if there were any pizzas we wanted to request, although we told him, once they were placed on the bar within a minute it was all gone, and we were sitting right by the bar. When I asked to speak to one manager, he said he had pizzas coming out and it would be a minute, ended up being approximately 30 minutes. The other manager (Lisa Holloway) told me she had to use the restroom and she'd "deal with me" when she came back, which she never did. Upon leaving I approached her again and she told me I can either refund your buffet or the children's but not everyone's. I did not get to decide or counter. She stated that she was short staffed because she didn't realize schools were closed today and had two managers making pizzas, herself at the counter, and a young lady stamping people as they came in. I was given a refund for my buffet which at this point I was so disgusted I picked my child up and walked out. The only bright said was the young black man that was clearly overworked trying to get people's orders and stamp people as they came in. He was very polite and apologetic for the wait time.
Worst experience ever!! With all the upgrades you would think it would be better...but all the upgrades cannot make up for lax, inattentive and rude staff! First...when there is a line of kids to cash in tickets, there should be someone else to handle customers NOT in line for that. When I asked the door person of there was only one line for both tokens and redeeming tickets, she barely looked at or spoke to me, "Uh, huh yeah." After five minutes of waiting while kids and parents got ice cream and tried to decide how to spend their tickets...I got OUT of line!! People had come through the door and were acting like they didn't see you in line and were standing just outside the line and ahead so that they could "jump the queue" as soon as another register opened up...total CHAOS!! There were DOZENS of staff walking aroundm--I grabbed one and complained. Only to be told there were kiosks that would do what I needed!!! And was he sympathetic, apologetic or even empathetic? Nope. Worst part of the whole thing? I stood by the door and looked back at least three times as I walked out with my kids. For a little while I gave them some time to notice that I was heading out and that nobody had checked me my stamp or my children's stamps. When nobody seemed to care, I kept walking. But that let me know everything I needed to know about the safety of this place. I have always been very paranoid of staying with my children when they are there. And everybody always told me that I was being too suspicious and too paranoid. I beg to differ. No...I stand firmly with my choice!
We love this place. Went on a Saturday before 3pm. Wasn't that busy at all. Pizza was ok, but I'm from NY where pizza is amazing. Salad bar was $8
