Came in to sale an item and was told I would have to come back because they stop and hour before closing which is totally fine. Except I was there at about 6:50 while they close at 8 one sales associate wanted to do the sale but the other told her no because of the hour rule. Not to mention they were not very friendly
Quality, name-drop slightly worn women's clothing store. The staff is helpful and the dressing rooms are spacious. The clothing selections are plentiful. The store is laid out very well. Great selection of dresses and casual wear. Shoe selection is surprisingly well stocked for a second-hand store. Prices are reasonable and discounts offered to repeat customers.
This past week was my first time shopping at this establishment. I’d first heard of this store from a co-worker. Being that I had an event coming up, I thought I’d swing by. Big mistake. When I first walked in I was not greeted, which was fine, just an observation. I found an item that caught my eye and continued to shop. Not even being in the store for five minutes, an associate walks up and acts as if she is cleaning. She then proceeds to ask if she would like me to take my item to the front and asks for my name. I instantly felt odd about that but continued to shop. After her taking my item to the front the associate never returns, weren’t you cleaning? I make my way over to the next aisle and hear the associate asking another customer if they are finding everything alright. Waiting for her to ask for their merchandise, she didn’t. Why was I singled out? A few moments go by, I turn around to look at the clothes behind me and that same associate is just standing there and had been watching me. At that point I felt unwanted. On my way to the front, I found a pair of jeans I thought would look nice with the item the sales associate took to the front. I stood at the front for many minutes being ignored by the manager and few associates, almost walking off before being acknowledged. I let the manager know I no longer wanted the pants but would still like to try on the cardigan. Feeling so uncomfortable, I chose to try on the item outside of the fitting room. After the item didn’t work for me, I took back to the front and left their business. I let my mom know of my experience and how it bothered me. She called to express concern and the managers exact words were “If she didn’t like her treatment then maybe she should shop elsewhere” she made it as if I’d did something wrong by shopping there. Her attitude was very nasty, unconcering, and unapologetic. And because of this, I will never return.
Great place to shop. Very reasonable prices, clothing in excellent condition. And the folks there are so always very friendly
I came into this business looking for a nice winter jacket. When I walked in the lady at the front counter looked at me and didn't even acknowledge me. Neither did any of the other women at the counter. The store itself is a crammed mess. There are clothes just smushed together on the racks and it's impossible to truly look through the clothing. Most of the clothing is not stylish in the least bit. It's a jumbled mess of shabby, sometimes heavily used clothing. The employees are rude and judgemental. Plato's closet and goodwill are much better businesses to spend your money at.
