I asked her what the process is for reimbursement for my item, and she said she didn’t know and wasn’t in a position *to know*, because she isn’t a supervisor. She told me it had only been two days and made it seem as if it was standard practice at this location.
My dry cleaning was supposed to be completed and returned to this location by Wednesday night at 5pm. I went in Thursday, around noon, to pick up my clothing. I was told by an employee that a few of my items had not been returned and they had no information regarding when they’d be returned.
I had to ask the employee to take down my information, so that she can call me and update me when she found out more. I called them about six hours later, when they apparently get their drop-offs from their main location, and was told by a different employee (who was at least apologetic) that my items were still missing and that they didn’t have any information.
The people at Wade put your perspective first. They truly put in the effort to make your experience positive and go the extra mile for your convenience.
I called again today, on Friday at 1, only to be told that all of my garments, save for one were back. The woman I spoke with, spoke with no remorse, when telling me she had no information and that she’s been “trying all day” to find out more.
I’m incredibly disappointed by my experience thus far; I specifically came to this location based on the reviews, and have had nothing but poor customer service. I can absolutely look past the fact that things got lost in the shuffle; I get that. What I can’t forgive is that the employees knew that this was happening and didn’t think to reach out to me a single time throughout this ordeal.
A courtesy call on Wednesday would’ve changed my whole perspective, but the fact that the employees lacked the common decency to reach out is keeping me from being a repeat customer.
