Now besides those incidents they were on time courteous and professional and completed the work rather quickly.
On 1 June I believe it was they moved us from Columbus, Ga to Hamilton, Ga three men and 1 truck $120 a hour. Jerome the head mover that day was courteous and professional. Overall they worked quickly and for the most part without incident. If you want insurance on the items you are moving it is a strange policy. We decided we did in fact want insurance on at least 2 of our TV's yet we needed more because it had to come out to at least $5000 so we included our Samsung refrigerator.
Putting the magnets on the fridge I noticed a nice size dent on our fridge We take a picture with my phone and send it to Jerome. We get no response. We called up A-Okay they are closed I leave a message. I call again the following day I speak to Chris Jerome's boss. He tells me when Jerome comes back out here to fix the damage to the wall he will look at the fridge. Couple days go by I call again tell him still no one came by and that I noticed another dent popped up on the fridge he asks how is it more dents are popping up chuckles a bit. I tell him i dont know maybe they damage the integrity of the fridge when it was so hard to move it from the old house He tells me Jerome is doing a out of town move but will reach out to me. My wife and I call every couple days. The last time I talked to them Jerome told me he will be out here about 530 600pm he then texted me at 638 saying he had a blow out and we would reschedule it for Saturday. It is now Wednesday 4 days past still no response so I will call again today. If it isn't resolved today I will contact the better business bureau.
They had quite a bit of trouble removing the fridge from the old house it is quite big, remember this for later. We arrive at the new house that just finished construction while they were moving in our furniture one of the younger guys waiting for one of the other guys to help him loses his grip on a piece of furniture now I have a nice gauge (elongated dent) in my wall Jerome tells me don't worry about it we will have someone come out and fix it. I wasn't concerned. Most of the remaining furniture went in with out incident. The fridge they did have trouble with. At the conclusion of the mobe My wife had about $160 in loose cash in a plastic little chest thing. She yells that we have a problem, When going through our stuff. I talk to Jerome who was on the phone with his boss at the time. He goes out to the truck comes in about 2 mins later and said that it was in one of the moving blankets they used. Cool no big deal. We conclude our business pay Jerome's boss over the phone. They did give me a military discount. But since it went past the hour mark by like 5 mins they charged me more. So I was charged like 5 hours plus the extra time plus insurance oh well we done.
Fast forward a few hours.
Yet I still have that problem with my wall and a dented fridge.
