Horrible company, I would give them no stars if possible. Paid for heavy duty dryer vent and installation of it with the dryer I purchased from home depot. My mom was home when the delivery arrived and the man asked my mom if she wanted to leave the old vent on. Long story short they kept my money for installation and I had to put the piece on myself. Why would I order and pay for a part for you to be lazy and not put on. Then I'm told by Brad he doesn't know what day he can get there to have it installed, then what does he know! Not a good manager or customer service person.
This place is the worst have been waiting on deliver for a week for a washing machine, first time they miss our delivery was because my mother didnt answer the phone instead of knocking on the door and when I asked the manager Brad who is very unprofessional and very rude told me they knocked on the door and I have cameras surrounding my house and they never even made it to my house. When I called today to verify and see why my delivery was taking so long and when it was coming Brad wouldn't even give me his name and kept threatening me two say that they're going to deliver to Home Depot instead of my house I had to call back and ask the assistant for Brad's name. Home Depot is really not wise for choosing Hackbarth for their delivery service as you can see in the reviews everyone agrees with me. And as for Brad you really are not a good manager oh yeah your not a manager he told me he was the supervisor when i asked him if he was the manager. I have the whole phone call recorded and this man really refuse to give me his name and threatened me haha so sad for this company
Horrible company. If there was a negative or no star option, that's what I would choose. It's a shame that Home Depot outsources to third party delivery. We had a scheduled delivery of 17 Dec from 2pm-8pm. We get the call that delivery driver had family emergency and would reschedule the morning of. Never heard back from them and we went to Home Depot to find out they use third party, and 7 out of 13 deliveries were canceled because they had many customer complaints with similar issues of no reschedule dates. The manager on duty called their corporate office which basically told us we would receive a call Monday morning to get a new delivery date. Is this business run by 5th graders? You get the deliveries out ASAP, you don't call the next business day to reschedule another day! So you leave the customer waiting another 2-3 days while you get your act together. I'm so thankful I'll be "allowed" to pick up my item and do their job for them /sarcasm off. If you are looking for a delivery service, look elsewhere because the professionalism and customer service of this company is non exsistent. I'll do all my shopping at lowes from this point on as long as Home Depot continues to use this joke of a "delivery" company.
Tried to not deliver unit at the last moment. Damaged my daughters mailbox. Did not leave icemaker line kit and did not unpack the fridge. The most unprofessional drivers possible. Joe at the main Mobile office is super nice. Called Jay in Columbus and waiting to hear back from
Him about damage.
