My cat got sick on Thanksgiving and I had no other local option. They charge you immediately before they ever tell you what their plan is. My beloved friend passed away 2 days later but not before I spoke with a slew of different people telling me that he was getting better, then someone would call me 30 minutes later to tell me that they were giving him another 12 hours before we needed to talk about quality of life. He died before that 12 hours was up and I was told that I didn't have to decide immediately what to do and if I wanted to see him, they had him wrapped in a towel. I stopped in 4 hours later as they had called me at 7am and I got off work at 4am. The reception told me I couldn't see him because he was already wrapped in plastic in storage. Finally after going back and forth, I was able to see him. I decided to have him cremated. I was told that they would call me when his ashes arrived back at their office. I just called today to find out what was going on, just to find out that he's been there. This place is so unprofessional and disconnected. PLEASE, TAKE MY ADVICE, DRIVE TO THE ANIMAL EMERGENCY IN OPELIKA BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR FURRY FAMILY HERE. I believe now that a 30 min drive might have a difference in my cat's outcome. Not to mention that I was charged for things that they never did or administered to my cat. NEVER AGAIN!
Although, no visit to an animal ER is a pleasant experience. The staff was caring, helpful, listened to my explanation of the situation, and took the time to explain their likely diagnosis with minimal invasive procedure (vital signs, physical palpation, and x-ray). They discussed possible treatment plans and made appropriate recommendations. Unfortunately, my kitten was beyond treatment, but had a peaceful end with the support of a professional and knowledgeable staff. A particularly, appreciation for Dr. White who took extra time explaining the x-ray and implications of the disease.
Took my little dog here it had a bad cut on its back were it under the fence. They took my dog and fixed it up as soon as I went in. Very good place to take your animals. This place is great.
Very unprofessional, dog had bloat but waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to the front, Then another 15 minutes to see doc.. not only was i charged over 800.00 but my dog was brought home with Fleas. had to pay another 300 to get rid of them in house, He has never had them, i thought i was seeing things , they were all over him.
My dog was bit in the face by another dog, they were the only place that would help him being a Saturday, the staff were fantastic and helped him right away. Being that there were many worse cases coming in having him stitched did take a while but he was kept comfortable the whole time. In my greatest time of need for my big guy these people worked tirelessly to make sure he was well taken care of. Great staff and decent prices.
