Very knowledgeable vets and a great support staff. We have four rescues and the team at Macon Rd Vet has been terrific to them. Highly recommended.
I brought my dog in because she wasn't feeling well and the doctor said her liver enzymes were high and wanted to keep my dog for 48 hours. They also gave me a estimate on what everything would cost. Well, when I came to pick up my dog the estimate was about 200 dollars off because they "forgot" to add the overnight stays. My dog is also not feeling any better. She's exactly the same as when I dropped her off. So I basically paid a ridiculous amount of money for my dog not to be fixed. I would not ever recommend anyone to take their dog here!
Excellent clinic with a wonderful, friendly staff. They were able to fix a surgery done poorly at another facility cheaply and got my kitty back to normal. Dr. Glass is extremely nice and professional and the whole place just has a good vibe. They also sell great pet odor candles at the checkout area, I'd highly recommend these!
Cons: Weekend pet grooming services are not offered here. This makes it very difficult for people with demanding careers to have their pets groomed here. I'd love to see MRV expand their grooming services to accommodate customers during their weekend hours.
Side note: The doctor did call to check up on my dog, and did offer to do a free check up. The doctor also wrote my pup a few new prescriptions that will hopefully work this time around. I am very pleased that the vet took the time to check up on my dog.
I will never take any of my dogs to this vet ever again.
Came by when a "neighbor" brought us a sickly kitten. Called and was to head straight in. Got there and when they tried to insert an IV, the kitten perished. The vet didn't charge us a dime. All staff was extremely friendly.
Pros: Very courteous staff. Clean facility. Great location!
